September 2018 Wrap Up

Could manage 4 books in September. Here goes my list:

1. Tarikshir: The Awakening by Khayaal Patel

A mythological fantasy book with its base in the Ramayana and British India period. A slow but definitely interesting book.

Read my review here.

2. Desire by Haruki Murakami

My first Murakami book and my first vintage mini as well. I had picked it up as a refresher in between college work and to have a taste of Murakami. Needless to say, I loved the short stories.

3. The Mind Game by Devika Das

This was a Non-fiction book which talks about tips and tricks that would enhance one's life. It was an okay read for me, since most of the things were already known to me.

Read my review here.

4. Lock 14 by Georges Simenon

Got this book from a Books-by-weight sale. Based in the 1930s in France, this was a detective or crime novel. This book did not have any impression on me due to the colloquial language and a flat plot.

Posting my September 2018 read in January 2019 because my 2018 was wild. You would get a hint about that in my previous post.
