February 2019 Wrap Up

In Feb, I visited home for a couple of weeks and there's where I got most of my reading done. I could read a total of 10 books and almost all of them were just amazing reads.

1. Bestseller by Ahmed Faiyaz

This one was an entertaining read about the publishing world and it was quite funny and brutally honest. Read my review here.

2. The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood

Now I get what's the hype about Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale. This book is brilliant and haunting. Loved reading it. Read my review here.

3. Handle With Care by Jodi Picoult

I genuinely loved this book so so so much. This book a family drama and it educated me about the medical condition 'osteogenesis imperfecta'. I almost cried reading this book. Read my review here.

4. If I Stay by Gayle Forman

Even this one is a hyped romance novel. This was an okay-ish read for me. I loved the family dynamics mentioned in the novel. Read my review here.

5. Where She Went by Gayle Forman

This is the sequel to If I Stay. And I loved it more that the first book. This one had heartbreaking romantic moments and I lived for those. Read my review here.

6. Suvarna Mohur by Arun Ramamurthy

Suvarna Mohur is a coffee table book. It's a beautifully illustrated book about India's rich history. The catch is, the book traces the history through coins. Read my review here.

7. A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

Read this in a day and Charles Dickens' masterpiece taught me a lot about about ugly side of the society and the other side of the socio-economic class. Read my review here.

8. The Priory Of The Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

THIS ONE IS ONE EPIC FANTASY NOVEL. I loved this book to its core. Highly highly recommended. Read my review here.

9. The Sun Shines Down by Sankha Ghosh

I did not like this book at all. This one is a wannabe political thriller. Read my review here.

10. Kaalkoot by S. Venkatesh

This one is a crime thriller based on biology and history. And I enjoyed reading this book. If this book has a sequel, I am going to read that too because I loved the author's writing style. Read my review here.

So these were my February read. I had a wholesome experience reading all these books. I hope you all had an awesome reading experience too. Happy reading! :)
